Pinterest - is an American image sharing and social media service designed to enable saving and discovery of information on the World Wide Web using images and, on a smaller scale, animated GIFs and videos, in the form of pinboards

Imgur - is an American online image sharing community and image host founded by Alan Schaaf in 2009. The service has been popular with hosting viral images and memes, particularly those posted on Reddit.

  Web 1.0 (1990-2000) The 'web' was initially developed in 1991 by sir Tim Berners-Lee  It was originally an information space, wherein consumers could access information.
